A leading manufacturer and supplier of converter products, that specialises in the Design, Supply, Installation & Servicing of Engineered Conveyor systems
The role
You will be the 'go-to person' providing OH & S support to branches locally and interstate. Duties include and not limited to:
- Developing OH & S plans and monitoring compliance throughout the company
- Implementing and providing ongoing support for procedures and processes
- Identifying and promoting best practice in relation to QHSE compliance management
- Conversant with and able to interpret and apply WHS legislation into practice
- Coordinating emergency procedures
- Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures
- Conducting regular site inspections
- Investigating accidents and incidents and providing prevention recommendations
- Handling worker's compensation claims2
- You have practical experience in a similar role (min of 3 years), ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry
- Minimum formal qualification of Diploma in Work Health & Safety
- You are resilient with strong communication skills
- Hold a current drivers licence and able to travel interstate to all branches including Mildura, Sydney, Newcastle and Queensland
