WHS Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for an WHS Coordinator to join our team in WA on a part time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the National WHS Plan
- Respond to WHS incidents/issues/investigations in a timely manner
- Identify systems failures and work with colleagues to correct
- Continuously work to improve WHS processes
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Investigate emerging issues and support business units in new projects
- Provide advice, support and education to the sites under your remit
- Conduct WHS mini audits
- Assist in workplace risk assessments
- Onboard managers and employees so they are trained in the correct WHS policies and procedures for their roles.
- Coordinate WHS committee and WHS consultative groups under your remit
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Previous experience in a Workplace Health and Safety role
- Knowledge of associated WHS legislation, regulations and standards.
- Experience in the provision of safety reporting including audits, investigations, inspections and the effective close out of corrective actions.
