IMB Bank has a great opportunity for a WHS/Wellbeing/HR professional who is passionate about creating a workplace which focuses on not just safety, but enhancing the well-being of everyone who works with us. While you will have responsibility for the design, implementation and ongoing management of our WHS Systems and Controls, the heart of this role is fostering a culture of safety and well-being for our people.
As a valued member of our People and Culture team, you will be working with business stakeholders as a trusted subject matter expert providing leadership, hands-on support and guidance to our Executive Team, Managers and employees regarding WHS and wellbeing, as well as broader HR areas such as learning and development, recruitment, projects as required.
The Position
Implement, manage and continuously improve IMB’s WHS systems, policies, procedures and processes ensuring regulatory compliance
Review, implement and manage Workers Compensation processes, claims, disputes, insurance premiums and Return To Work
Design, implement and manage well-being programs, and mental health support and guidance
Provide leadership and coaching in WHS policy and practice
Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
Responsible for WHS reporting including data & analytics, monitor trends, make recommendations for improvement in IMB’s WHS systems, approaches and performance
Design and deliver training to employees and managers on WHS topics
Provide general HR advice, supporting core People and Culture initiatives and carry out various activities to support the function and team as needed.
What we’re looking for
An energetic, upbeat and professional style, with a “can do” attitude and collaborative and supportive approach
At least 4 years experience in WHS/Wellbeing/HR Generalist roles
Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or WHS advantageous along with appropriate mental health first aid qualifications and/or accreditations
A high level of productivity with a service oriented and delivery focused style
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience in building rapport and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data
Passionate and experienced in developing and implementing WHS programs
Experience managing workers compensations claims including Return To Work plans
Deliver training programs for employees.
Generalist HR advisory experience and any exposure across the employee life cycle including recruitment, learning and development etc would be a bonus.
