Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects Team at our world leading material handling facilities in the heart of Newcastle.
In this key role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a rolling 2 year portfolio of projects in an outage-based delivery model. The project portfolio is inclusive of a broad range of projects predominately in the mechanical and structural disciplines across both static and mobile plant. You will bring a commercial approach to project planning, including options analysis, risk-based decision making, budgeting, and change management to successfully execute projects aligned to our business strategy.

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced at managing multiple projects concurrently, from initiation through to execution, commissioning, and handover, applying industry best practice project management. Great commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement are key. Experience in heavy industry or construction along with relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline is required. Experience in scheduling and project management on major outages or shutdowns will be advantageous.
