We collaborate with Property Developers, Government Departments and Marketing Agencies to deliver bespoke signage that emphasises quality and aesthetics. The Role
We are now seeking an experienced Wide FormatDigital Printing & Prepress Operator.
Our workplace is fast paced and a quick changing environment and a high level of accuracy, literacy and numeracy is required for this role. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, a role in which you will enjoy the diversity of our industry while working on many different, varied projects.
You will present professionally and have the skill set to consistently maintain a high level of attention to detail whilst delivering on time. Our focus is to provide our clients with an exceptional customer service experience, on time every time.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with the production of multiple signage projects.
- Communicating directly with clients and suppliers via phone, email and face to face in a professional and friendly manner.
- Editing artwork within set timeframes.
- Prepress work & working with vinyl.
- Operation of print/cut machines and general hand/power tools.
- Weeding, application and applying cut graphics to various substrates.
- Assisting with calculating quotes.
- General workshop & studio upkeep and maintenance.
- Drop off and pickup of supplier materials using the company vehicle when required.
Requirements:
- Proven signage experience is essential.
- Knowledge of materials, production methods and terminology used in signage design and production required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively and efficiently is essential!
- The ability to multitask and prioritise competing workloads effectively and efficiently.
- Experienced with various softwares including - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & RIP softwares.
- Proven experienced operating large format printing machines, plotters, laminators and mounting tables.
- Experience with the safe use of general hand/power tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain a high attention to detail and consistently deliver high quality work is ESSENTIAL!
- Ability to work in a small team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised when required.
- MUST have a high degree of accuracy, literacy and numeracy.
- Driver’s license required.
- Confident with heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Must be willing to assist with site visits, measure ups and installations.
- White Card required.
- Ability to maintain safe work practices and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude is ESSENTIAL!
- Must be willing to provide a police clearance and blue card on request and complete our company medical assessment.
