Winter Seasonal Roles - Ski Patrol

Ski Patrollers, experience in first aid delivery to respond to injured persons and risk assessment of ski areas.

Calling experienced first aid responders who are competent skiers or snowboarders to join our Ski Patrol team!
As a member of the Ski Patrol team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient, professional and safe operation of the ski fields, delivery of first aid and evacuation services and customer service on a daily basis.
In this role you will get to enjoy either the beautiful alpine sunrises or sunset as our patrollers work long days to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.
Our patrollers play a pivotal role managing and risk assessing the ski areas. If the unfortunate does occur and a guest or employee needs medical assistance our ASPA qualification Ski Patrollers will provide the comfort and care required to safely retrieve, provide first aid, and evacuate if necessary.
Mt Hotham is located in north-east Victoria, about 4.5 hours from Melbourne and is considered the “Powder Capital’ of Australia. With 320 hectares of ski terrain including, 13 chair lifts, 3 terrain parks, 35 kms of cross-country skiing and a village located on the top of the mountain…what is stopping you from joining our team this winter for a unique job opportunity?
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?

• Current Australian Ski Patrol Association Certificate (ASPA) Advanced Emergency Care or equivalent
• Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Australian Driver licence
• Demonstrated field experience in first-aid delivery
• Competent skier or snowboarder
• Previous Ski Patrol and alpine industry experience will score you 'brownie points'.
• A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, shine and of course…Snow!
• Available from May/June to mid-October 2024 including weekends and school holidays.
