About the role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Analyst - Supply Chain to join our IT team at Officeworks. As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering Supply Chain functional IT application projects, enhancements, and support. Your work will directly contribute to the effective and efficient operation of Officeworks team members and internal Supply Chain and warehouse business functions.
Some of your accountabilities will be:
- Collaborate with internal business customers and IT delivery and support teams to determine requirements, design technical solutions, and implement changes.
- Lead functional designs for new and existing IT application changes.
- Manage and implement small to medium IT application enhancements/projects.
- Resolve incidents and problems in line with IT SLAs.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Maintain awareness of industry-leading IT approaches.
Ideally the right candidate will possess the following:
Formal Education: Appropriate tertiary qualifications ideally at postgraduate level. ITIL certification preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of WMS application configuration experience, ideally with exposure to the retail industry. 5 years of project and support experience with Supply Chain systems, including 3rd party integrations. Experience with relevant IT systems such as SAP and other Supply Chain systems. Cross-functional work experience is desired.
- Skills/Knowledge/Attributes: Broad and expert skills and knowledge in relevant IT systems such as SAP, High Jump, Voice, Myfreight, and AMR. SAP integration experience, including idocs and messaging knowledge between systems. Additional skills in SQL and Power BI are a plus. Strong planning and organizational skills. Willingness to learn new technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Initiative, innovation, and creativity. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to influence key stakeholders with a customer focus. Must be local and willing to travel to warehouses as required.
