About the Role
They are currently seeking a highly professional and engaging Business Support Coordinator to join their team in Parramatta with the flexibility to travel to Sydney CBD on ad hoc basis. This is an estimated 4month temporary assignment with a strong potential to extend. You will be required to work part time of 21hours per week.
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of logistical and event coordination services to support organisational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high quality, professional frontline customer service
- Search, review and source venue and catering vendors
- Schedule and coordinate venue hire for meetings, workshops, training seminars and events
- Coordinate logistics including staff movement
- Arrange and order catering, taking into consideration dietary requirements
- Bump in and bump out requirements including preparation of meeting rooms
- Set up tables and chairs upon the needs of the meeting (classroom, training or theatre style)
- Plating up food, including cutting fruit for fruit platters
- Adhering to all food hygiene requirements
- Assisting with answering telephone calls
- Reception coverage, when required
- Sorting through cupboards, files and paperwork, moving archive boxes, decluttering, for refurbishment
- Travel between Parramatta and Sydney CBD offices on an adhoc basis

Requirements
- Demonstrated Business, Administration or Team support experience
- Thorough understanding of food hygiene
- Proven event logistics experience including booking venues and catering
- Flexible to work 21hours per week either Tuesday’s to Thursday’s or 3-4days part time school hours
- Capability to physically stand on feet for long durations of time and manually lift archive boxes, platters of food etc
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the assignment duration
