The Role
This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.
This role provides advice and support on Work Health and Safety (WHS) matters across Catholic Education of Western Australia (CEWA) worksites and supports the development, implementation, and review of the WHS Strategy, frameworks, programs, policies, and procedures.

About you?
- Minimum of a Certificate 4 in Work Health and Safety.
- Knowledge and experience in the application of contemporary Work Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice and standards; workers compensation and injury management.
- Be a good team player, with high level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence others, negotiate outcomes while still being practical in an evolving WHS culture.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet agreed time frames and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and a commitment to providing a quality service to customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in the use of a range of software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite and WHS systems).
- Possession of or progress towards tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, or related field is highly desirable.
- WHS investigation certificate such as ICAM or Taproot is highly desirable.
