Work Health And Safety Consultant

As a Work Health and Safety Consultant, you will lead and provide a comprehensive Work Health and Safety service to the Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG), ensuring adherence to applicable Work Health and Safety Management Systems.

You will develop, implement and evaluate workplace injury prevention programs and strategies that have the primary objective of reducing incidents and injuries to staff, volunteers and client-base whilst fostering an organisation-wide safety culture.

About Directorate:

The role of the Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG) Work Health and Safety (WHS) Department is to develop and assist in the implementation of RkPG workplace Health and Safety programs to minimise the risk of injury and illness. RkPG is committed to ensuring the safety, Health and welfare of staff, volunteers, students, contractors and visitors and supports the ongoing development and maintenance of a safe working environment and the management of identified risk. Governance and Escalation platforms and processes are well established, via the following Committee structure:

•     RkPG Executive WHS Committee

•     RkPG Corporate Directorate WHS Committee

•     RkPG Mental Health Directorate WHS Committee

•     RkPG Surgical & Specialist Care Directorate WHS Committee

•     RkPG Acute & Community Medical Directorate WHS Committee
