Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a safety position
- Tertiary qualification or Diploma in Work Health & Safety is essential.
- Understanding of RTW processes and injury management.
- Understanding of manual handling and risk assessment.
- Carry out risk management processes and risk assessment facilitation experience.
- Incident Investigation Qualifications (Taproot/Essential Factors/ICAM).
- Ability to assist in maintaining, updating and overseeing all OH&S information as it changes in State and Federal Legislation and ensuring all Policies and Procedures comply.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office, Word, Excel.
- Ability to multi task with excellent time management skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- As a consultant WHS Advisor, you will support all safety and risk related tasks whilst ensuring alignment to the client's values and behaviours.
- Partner with clients to facilitate the implementation and continual improvement of all aspects of safety processes including risk assessments/audits/inspections, hazard reporting, accident/incident investigations reporting.
- Support clients in ensuring relevant contractors and employees comply with the site's safety and health management system and relevant legislation.
- Play an active part with the continuous improvement of safety within the clients process
