The Opportunity
We seek a Work Health and Safety ( WHS) Manager who will assist Alice Springs Town Council maintain strong operational compliance and continuous improvement of its safety culture.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to develop, implement and maintain an effective organisation workplace Health and safety system, monitoring the safety of workplace environment and identifying risks and hazards to minimise Council’s exposure to risk. You are also responsible for ongoing training needs analysis relating to the WHS and the development, delivery and coordination of WHS- related training to the Council’s workforce including the Executive and Elected Members where required.

- Attractive salary of $.119,384.16 exclusive of superannuation plus district allowance — $ 2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o on pro-rata basis.
