About the Role
As a Part time WHS Advisor will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our organisation's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing various health and safety programs and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulation across our diverse property development and hospitality portfolio.
Key Responsibilities include:
- WHS Management System: You will champion the implementation of our WHS Management System and regulatory compliance across multiple sites, assets, restaurants and resorts.
- Strategic Guidance: You will provide direction and contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health and safety processes and practices, implementing enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Based Decision Making: Utilise risk assessment and data insights to inform decision-making processes related to health and safety initiatives, ensuring evidence-based approaches to risk management and compliance.
About you

- Educational Background: Hold tertiary qualification(s) in WHS or related fields, or demonstrate equivalent experience essential for this role.
- Team Culture: You enjoy supporting and mentoring team members to foster their professional development and enhance their effectiveness in promoting a safe work environment and contribute to a positive, diverse and supportive environment for people to excel.
- Previous Experience: In a similar role to driving improvement in WHS outcomes with experience in property/construction, contractor management or hospitality highly desirable.
