The Opportunity: 

Kent is a Tier 1 EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Contractor operating in the Resources sector, with a primary focus on traditional energy projects as well as initiatives related to energy transition. With a reputation for excellence in delivering complex projects, Kent is committed to sustainable practices and innovation in the construction industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Work Pack Engineer to join our team based in the Perth office.

The Work Pack Engineer plays a pivotal role to develop project-specific procedures based on the Kent Integrated Management System, and establish Work Packaging for, of construction activities for both Brown Fields and Green Fields work scope. 

You will work closely with the Engineering team, responsible for developing Construction Work Packs and Construction Scopes of Work, in preparation of offshore construction projects, from the initial concept phase through FEED and into execution. 

This position is responsible for developing CCLBD’s and Work packs, in preparation for the Offshore Construction Superintendent, to effectively complete the offshore scopes of work.

We would need to see this qualifications & experience…

  • Trade or relevant tertiary qualifications (Mechanical or Piping Preferred)
  • Knowledgeable of current industry and technical developments.
  • Familiarisation with Construction activities risk Assessments, SWMS, and Permit to Work
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to provide solutions on site
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and procedures
  • Technical background and an understanding of Mechanical, Fabrication, Piping and Welding, with exposure to Pre Commissioning would be an advantage
  • Ensure proactive qualities demonstrating HSE talents
  • Proven track record with recognized international standard contracting companies.
  • Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely
    manner.
  • Computer literate especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
