The Opportunity:The Work Package Commercial Manager is a key member in the Project Controls team, leading Project Controls across all Alliance participants on the Works Packages. The Commercial Manager, together with the Project Manager, is responsible for the development and presentation of the Work Package Monthly Project Review, the Monthly Report and ACCIONA Reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent reporting of monthly financial position. Responsibilities:Full compliance with commercial and finance procedures and usage of tools and systems to ensure transparent, timely and accurate cost tracking and reporting to inform timely, decisive, and positive actions in the management of project costs.Managing Revenue and Cost Control processes and monitoring financial performance of the Work Package including upstream adjustment events and scope variations, downstream variations, actual/invoiced costs, accruals, and forecasts to complete.Lead the Procurement and Contracts team and processes.Skills and Experience: Tertiary Qualified in Construction Management, Commerce, Finance, Civil Engineering or similar.8 years demonstrated experience in cost forecasting and control and/or as a senior project engineer with significant commercial experience and accountability in the construction engineering industry.Exposure and understanding of an Alliance model highly desirable but NOT essential.Previous experience in a complex project environment.Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages, with proficiency in Excel.
