With a recently awarded dredging project at Mt Owen Mine in the Hunter Valley region (NSW), Hall Contracting are now looking for Workboat Operators / Master 5 to join their project team. The project is expected to start around March/April 2024, and is set to go on for 10-12 months.
FIFO and DIDO applicants will also be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Constant monitoring and operation of vessel controls to ensure optimal operation.
- Direct and assist others in placing/moving anchors and floating pipeline.
- Maintain vessel availability to meet or exceed planned efficiency goals.
- Operate in a safe manner, adhering to company OH&S policies.
About You:
- Proven experience operating commercial vessels on construction projects.
- At least a Master 5/Master 24m near coastal certificate.
- Marine engine driver grade 2 near coastal (MED2).
- A positive can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
