Applications Support Officer

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.We are seeking an Applications Support Officer within the Defence Transformation Team to support the Defence Portfolio Contract systems and associated applications.The role will play a key part in addressing user and application / system issues in a timely manner ensuring contract obligations are met and will be located at our offices in Cremorne, Victoria.Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Administer the Defence Apps Ticket of Works Application and Support Mailboxes and address user issues
• Address data/status synchronisation issues between interfaced applications including Defence Scheduling app (Click FSE Scheduling)
• Internally used Mobile applications and related device management and support
• Subcontractor support in relation to Ventia's Defence Mobility Applications which includes but not limited to subcontractor claims
• Level 1 triage and support to Defence and Ventia systems (SAP)
• Manage and resolve data synchronisation issues with core SAP system and the Defence contract work order scheduling application
• Management and distribution of communications sent to the wider Defence contract user community

About youIdeally you will have qualifications or certifications within the field, accompanied with experienced working in a similar role.You will also possess:

• Sound knowledge in SAP or similar ERP systems with experience in word order lifecycles in both planned and reactive maintenance
• Financial postings and reversal of RCTI invoices
• Ability to interpret basic system coding in xml format (Desirable or willing to learn)
• Skills in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word with MS Project and Visio desirable
• Work experience in estate or facilities management highly desirable

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.Diversity
