Your Opportunity:

We are seeking applications from OTs, Social Workers, Psychologists, or Registered Psych Nurses to join the RMH as a Workforce Wellbeing Consultant.

About You:

  • You have clinical experience in the delivery of mental health/psychological services as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Social Worker, Psychologist, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
  • You have a passion for caring and making a genuine difference in the working life of staff
  • You enjoy being part of a dynamic team yet are confident to work autonomously
  • You are committed to continued learning and broadening of your skills
  • You are empathic and emotionally intelligent with excellent communication skills that demonstrate the ability to develop rapport and engage with a diverse group of people

Your Contribution:

  • Ability to collaborate, plan, initiate, deliver and evaluate wellbeing activities for health care staff across varied settings
  • Experience engaging managers/senior staff in new initiatives/projects
  • Knowledge and experience of current practices managing workplace related stress including Psychological First Aid
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating groups and delivering training
  • Experience in facilitating critical incident response post critical incidents or as a result of cumulative stress
  • Demonstrable administrative, research, report writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a complex large organization and manage time effectively
  • Established skills with information technology including Microsoft Office suite and databases
