Research Nurse - Glycation and Diabetes Complications Group Apply now Job no: 499992 Work type: Casual Location: South Brisbane Categories: Research Mater Research are currently looking for a Research Nurse to join the Glycation and Diabetes Complications Group. This casual role will be based at our South Brisbane campus. Salary range: $99,347-$118,674 p.a. plus superannuation and salary packaging What you’ll be doing The Research Nurse will work on allocated studies related to the relevant research program including audits, clinical cohort studies and clinical trials to ensure that these are conducted in adherence to the applicable local, national and international regulations and standards. The Research Nurse is responsible to ensure high quality and timely of clinical research, patient interviews, sample collection and processing and scheduling the clinical research procedures required by research protocols. You will also meet the below criteria: GCP certification. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills necessary for negotiating and liaising effectively with a diverse range of staff, patients and other stakeholders Ability to conduct clinical research to ensure consistency and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills Possess analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to collect biological samples to clinical standards (Desirable) Current experience in Diabetes and related complications (Desirable) Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical conduct in research involving humans. (Desirable) Experience in implementing and conducting clinical research with current ICH GCP qualifications. Why join us?
