Job Description: 

Banksia Projects is seeking a dynamic and experienced Working Site Supervisor/Project Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting mix of work variety, overseeing both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a carpentry trade background and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Take charge of project sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Project Management: Manage all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Contractor Coordination: Organise and oversee subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• On-site Work: Lead by example by being hands-on when necessary, demonstrating expertise in carpentry and construction techniques.
• Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related challenges effectively, keeping projects on track and within budget.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Directors to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Carpentry Background: Preferably have a trade qualification in carpentry or relevant field.
• Experience: Proven experience in site supervision and project management within the construction industry.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
• Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and site conditions.
