Reporting directly to the Workplace Health and Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in providing WHS support to all of our operational sites, located throughout the Darling Downs Region.

About the Role
- Support and monitor Workplace, Health and Safety compliance in accordance with the Mort & Co Safety Management System.
- Provide day-2-day support and advice on all Workplace Health and Safety processes, policies and procedures to managers, employees and contractors.
- Facilitate safety incident investigations, internal audits and inspections.
- Deliver training at inductions, toolbox talks and Safety meetings.
- Undertake a range of administrative, support and record-keeping activities to support the Workplace Health and Safety function.
About You
As a motivated professional, committed to driving a positive safety culture at Mort & Co, you should also possess:
- Strong personal commitment to safety, and demonstrated experience in achieving positive Workplace Health and Safety outcomes.
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, or relevant industry or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience in Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and compliance.
- Strong communication skills, proven ability to develop strong working relationships and innovative problem solving abilities.
- Possess a strong work ethic, ability to use initiative and remain level-headed under pressure.
