About the role
Due to sustainable growth, we are searching for an experienced  Safety Advisor to join our well-established Health, Safety & Sustainability division. This is a  permanent, full-time  opportunity based out of our  Rockhampton , QLD office.
 Reporting to the Safety Manager the primary responsibility of this role will be to coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Risk Management for Hastings Deering employees working within our operations teams
Key Responsibilities:
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and assistance to foster a safe and healthy work environment
Evaluate and inspect workplace environments, and practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Assist in pre-shift planning, scheduling and inspections to maintain operational safety
Contribute to and implement our safety management system, aligning with company and legislative requirements
Facilitate Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) investigations
