About the role
Queensland Rail have a new vacancy for a Works Management Coordinator to join our facilities management team based in Brisbane CBD. As a Works Management Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our SEQ Facilities Service Desk Team.

 

You will lead a team of 8 skilled SEQ Facilities Service Desk professionals, who are dedicated to logging clear, actionable service requests, and dispatching to the correct maintenance teams. To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a dynamic work environment and advocate for a positive and collaborative team.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
•    Lead and mentor a team of service desk professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve operational success
•    Ensure timely and efficient resolution of facility issues, maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise and schedule repairs and maintenance activities
•    Ensure accuracy in all reports logged to ensure they are delivered to the correct teams
•    Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment

About you
•    Previous knowledge/ understanding of Facilities Management
•    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
•    Excellent ability to problem-solve and resolution
•    Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new computer systems
•    Ability to be agile and highly adaptable to changing plans/ targets
