Rugby Farming Group is a large farming operation specialising in growing, packing and transporting fresh produce to both the domestic and export market. With multiple locations throughout Queensland we are looking for a suitable applicant for a busy workshop role supporting our Transport operation based in Gatton.
Reporting to the General Manager Finance, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Assisting with the scheduling of vehicle servicing.
- Ensuring compliance with processes and producing maintenance reports.
- Accurate, high volume data entry into our vehicle maintenance system.
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders regarding operational requirements.
- Keeping accurate records of spare parts stock and assist with ordering as required.
- Driving to pick up parts
- Assisting with other office duties such as manifesting and debriefing.
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
- Spare parts interpretation experience.
- Experience with high volume data entry.
- Sound problem solving ability and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a workshop environment.
- Be a team player who can multi-task.
To be successful in this role, candidates will require excellent attention to detail, a personable character and professional manner. Strong computing skills, the ability to work well in a team environment and excellent communication skills are also required. Some weekend work may be required.
A heavy vehicle licence holder will be viewed favourably and experience in a similar role will be a distinct advantage.
