This is an opportunity for a Perth-based candidate to join a dynamic and rapidly growing oilfield company. We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious person with oil and gas industry experience in the upstream area.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting
• Use moving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficient move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility
• Packaging inventory for safe shipping
• Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely
• Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues
• Properly use of all systems and equipment
• Communicate with operating departments to evaluate reliability and functionality of company equipment and system
• Keep systems and equipment running by administering tests, making repairs, acquiring and installing necessary replacement parts, and creating a program for regular maintenance
• Keeps work environment healthy and safe for all employees by ensuring everyone follows company procedures and standards in addition to government regulations and codes
• Partakes in educational opportunities such as workshops and reads technical articles and studies to keep job knowledge current

Job Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Logistics or Warehouse setting
• 4+ years Mechanical knowledge or experience
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in upstream Oil and Gas industry
• Forklift ticket
• Unrestricted drivers license
• Offshore certificates desirable (i.e. BOSIET, OGUK, etc.)
• Knowledge of drilling waste management and solid control systems / equipment
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of systems and equipment
