Workshop Assistant Storeperson

City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant Store Person to join our team in the Workshop based at our Works Depot. This is an evening shift role will see you working between 1pm and 8pm Monday to Friday.

As our Workshop Assistant Storeperson, you will assist in the monitoring and management of parts, tools and consumables for the mechanical workshop, ensuring adequate stock levels, tool maintenance and disposing of obsolete stock when required. Your primary focus will be assisting the Workshop Storeperson to ensure the correct parts are booked out and allocated for each job.

You will bring high level customer service and communication skills in order to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, and you'll also be team focused, assisting in building and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and fostering team harmony through implementing CN's core corporate (CREW) values.
