Workshop Boilermakers

Our client is a Global Leader in Mining Equipment Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the local market. We are looking for multiple Boilermakers to support their Longwall Underground Mining overhauls section for a short term shutdown that has the potential to continue for an ongoing basis.What’s Involved?

• Strip, assess and rebuild of Longwall Systems to underground mining standard
• Crack repairs
• Small Fabrication work
• Air arc gouging

What we’re looking for:

• Trade Qualification or recent and relevant Welding experience
• Must have flux core experience
• Experience on underground mining equipment preferred
• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Attention to detail and industry standards
• Excellent work references that can support your application

What we can offer you:

• $57.76 / hour casual rate
• Overtime available with full penalties
• 6 AM - 3 PM normal working hours
• Potential for ongoing work
• Maitland region based
• Ongoing support from your Randstad team
• Mid June expected project start
