Workshop Controller - South Yarra Volkswagen

Launic Motor Group requires the services of a skilled, professional to lead our Technical Team at South Yarra Volkswagen.

The role requires general mechanical knowledge, but does NOT require the applicant to be a qualified mechanic. The applicant must have great organisation skills and be process orientated.

The Workshop Controller will delegate and monitor tasks to our team of technicians, so excellent communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment are required. 

To be successful in this role you will;

• Have great organisation skills and be process orientated.
• Be able to lead, mentor and effectively manage and supervise the daily operations of the Workshop team.
• Effectively allocate incoming work to ensure that it is performed in an efficient manner to the highest possible standard.
• Ensure customer expectations and quality benchmarks are achieved
• Ensure accurate completion of all workshop documentation as required by the manufacture and group.
• Have demonstrated prior experience in a similar or relevant role
• Assist with the implementation and compliance with OHS policies and procedures.
• Be able to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
