Working closely with the Parts and Service Managers, you will be responsible for;
- overseeing the busy workshop
- organisation of workflow through the workshop
- ensure all jobs are carried out to Volkswagen Australia standards, adhering to policies and procedures
- plan, monitor and control all repair orders
- oversee the quality of all work performed in the workshop
- maintain equipment and facilities to ensure functional longevity and workplace safety
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes;
- at least 2 years experience as a Workshop Controller
- at least 3 years experience as a Qualified Technician
- advanced diagnostic skills
- advanced electrical diagnostic skills and knowledge
- high attention to details
- experience in using computer diagnostic equipment and software to identify issues
- Outstanding organisational abilities
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to working collaboratively within the group
- Focused on delivering efficiency and productivity
