We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join the Patterson Cheney Toyota in Keysborough.
About the role:
- Coordinating daily workshop activities and assigning repair orders to service technicians - using our Dealer Management System
- Managing the workshop team to maximise productivity, efficiency and profitability.
- Maintaining an on-time delivery rate
- Identifying technician strengths and weaknesses to allocate work effectively whilst creating opportunities to develop the team's skills
- Working with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle progress and additional work needed to customers.
- Previous dealership experience as a Foreman or Worksop Controller
- Qualified automotive technician (Toyota experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency levels
- Strong organisation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor, including apprentices
- Be reliable, self-motivated, with a great work ethic
- Demonstrate a high degree of teamwork with the ability to work within a dynamic workshop environment
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Salary will be negotiated on experience
