The Opportunity:Techforce have partnered with a world-wide multi-disciplinary Asset Management company who are seeking an Experienced Workshop Coordinator for an immediate start. The key responsibilities of the role consist of: Coordinating Procurement, Coordinating Workshop Resources (Operational and Human), engaging with key stakeholders, sub-contractors and Senior Management as well as leading the allocation of Job Flow throughout the workshop.
Job Responsibilities:
Your will be responsible for driving the Job Flow within the workshop ensuring effective management of resources and staffing to fall in line with operations milestones.
- Supervising and driving team, scheduling activities and Job Allocations.
- Managing procurement of supplies as well as inventory management and stocktake.
- Engage in reporting with Superintendent to successfully manage key client and stakeholder expectations
- Conduct Quality checks of fabricated goods to ensure compliance is being followed through with.
- Drive team in OHS practices and promote culture within the business.
To be considered you must have:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement, Workshop Management or Logistics.
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the mechanical/ fabrication space.
- Proven experience within the mechanical space.
