ABOUT THE ROLE
Applications are sought from passionate candidates with extensive International Baccalaureate Diploma Coordinator experience to manage the implementation and delivery of the IB Diploma Programme.
Please note, this is a permanent full time opportunity at The King's School in North Parramatta. Commencing in Term 3 2024 the role will have a 0.5 FTE Teaching load in conjunction with 0.5FTE IBDP Co-ordinator role with full time administrative support.

To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you meet the following:
• Experience in the developing and overseeing the implementation of the Action Plan for the Diploma Programme.
• Oversee the day to day administration of the IDBP within the Senior School including resources, record management and processes & procedures.
• Ensure that teaching and learning promotes the IBDP Learner Profile, and the values of the IBDP Mission Statement.
• Mentor teachers and model good inquiry practice in the classroom
• Liaise with key IBDP teachers and staff to ensure the programme is being well administered
• Organisation and management of written and oral examinations, both scheduling and process
• Demonstrated Intermediate/Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
• High levels of written and verbal communication skills to work professionally with parents, staff, students and external stakeholders
• Ability to prioritise, meet or exceed deadlines and coordinate staff to ensure efficiency and high-quality outcomes
• Discretion, diplomacy, tact and confidentiality
• Intuitive and proactive attitude
• Self motivated, enthusiastic and engaging character
• Exemplary planning and time management skills
• Strong problem solving capability – a solutions finder
