Position Overview:
As a Workshop Electrician, you will play a crucial role in our operations by working in the workshop to construct MCC switchboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, possess excellent attention to detail, and be adept at working within a team to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and wire Motor Control Center switchboards according to technical specifications and project requirements.
- Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and wiring of switchboards.
- Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues during the construction process to ensure the functionality of the MCC switchboards.
- Work closely with the workshop team to meet project deadlines and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
- Hold a valid electrician certification or relevant qualification.
- Ideally, experience in constructing MCC switchboards or similar electrical components.
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality.
