We now require a Workshop Foreman to join our leadership team in Burswood. This position is an integral part of the Service department responsible for a busy service operation. This role will be responsible for leading and motivating an experienced team of Technicians and Apprentices to maximum productivity and efficiency whilst maintaining a 100% customer satisfaction.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- The daily routine sees the controller co-ordinate relevant jobs to appropriate technicians. This also includes co-ordination of road tests, car washes and customer collection schedules. The controller recognises delay and is responsible for fast communication to the service reception and Service Manager.
- The role will also adhere to manufacture processes and oversee the administration of warranty, customer escalations, and the internal workshop.
- Ensuring a high quality of work is produced at all times and on time.

- Have a clear understanding of productivity and efficiency drivers and how to effectively allocate tasks to workshop teams to complete the work allocated each day.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- You will possess the qualities of a leader who leads by example
- You must have a valid, current drivers licence in this role.
- Be either qualified vehicle technician or have experience as a Service Advisor in a high volume, fast paced vehicle dealership.(Previous experience in a Service Department leadership role preferable but essential)
- Strong delegation and prioritisation skills.
- Proactive in developing processes and providing solutions to challenges within the Service Department.
- Genuine commitment to achieve daily and monthly KPIs
