The Role
- Oversee that our high standards of servicing and repairs to all makes and models of vehicles including 4WD's SUV's and European vehicles, with a fix-it-first-time attitude is being carried out.
- Present to work in a punctual and presentable manner
- Advise the business owner of any ongoing workshop issues or workplace concerns
- Worksafe and environmentally friendly work approach
Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop ensuring that the service, repair, and maintenance of our customer's vehicles is carried out to the highest standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on vehicles.
- Quality control the vehicles before the customers pick them up.
- Allocated work orders and jobs.
- Locating and ordering parts.
- Liaise with the front-of-house team.
- Ensure the workshop is in a safe, clean, and tidy condition.
- Ensure all workshop operations are completed to professional standards.
- Whilst the role is predominantly a leadership one you will still be required to do some mechanical duties, however, you will have the opportunity to pick and choose the jobs you want to undertake.
- Assist and guide in the training of our apprentice.
Skills
- Relevant Trade Qualifications and Experience with good Diagnostic skills.
- Previous leadership experience would be highly regarded.
- Be passionate about the trade.
- You must have clear and concise communication skills with a can-do attitude, and be able to communicate directly with customers in simple terms regarding issues with their vehicle and provide solutions in solving those issues.

Hours
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with no weekends ever.
