Form of workWe seek a skilled and adaptable machinist to join our dynamic team at a research and development-oriented company specialising in equipment for geotechnical purposes. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach, with the ability to manage tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform machining tasks based on project requirements on manual-operated machines (lathes and mills) with the ability to work on CNC in the future
- Manage workshop activities to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to research and development initiatives
- Demonstrate versatility and creativity in problem-solving
- Conduct equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
Qualifications:
- Trade certificate in Fitting and Turning
- The ability to read drawings is essential
- Experience working on CNC machinery
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Inventive mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
TIG and MIG welding, an understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics will benefit considered applicants.
