Are you a skilled technician with a passion for heavy equipment and trucks? Our client, a leading employer in an essential services industry, is seeking a Workshop Service Technician to join their dynamic team. This role offers a diverse range of tasks, including diagnostic work on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, scheduled maintenance, and installations, all within the comfort of a well-equipped workshop.The Role: As a Workshop Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Performing comprehensive breakdown and routine servicing.
- Completing and submitting detailed job reports.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Managing OH&S safety requirements.
- Collaborating with team members and occasionally working on larger jobs.
- Visiting client sites and reporting to the workshop as required.

- Day shift from Monday to Friday.
- Lunchtime finish on Fridays for an early start to your weekend.
- Varied tasks within a well-established workshop.

- Exposure to a diverse range of equipment and machinery in the essential services industry.
- Experience working on heavy vehicles and/or materials handling machinery, including crushers and compactors.
- Trade qualification such as Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, or Auto-Electrician, or significant demonstrable experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with team members.
- Clean driver's license – HR license is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical fitness and ability to carry out basic manual handling as required.
- Work rights to live and work in Australia.
