We are seeking self motivated Workshop Supervisorwith experience in both Light & Heavy Fabrication to join our busy workshop.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be working with our management team to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fabrication workshop.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and lead a team of tradespeople & apprentices, providing mentoring and guidance
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
- Oversee and delegate work plans in conjunction with the Workshop Manager
- Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Manage workshop consumables including tools, equipment and materials
- Ensure workshop and yard housekeeping is of a high standard

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker
- 5 years’ experience post trade qualification
- Strong drawing interpretation skills
- Highly experienced with fabrication/repairs - structural steel, pipework, platework
- Proficient in various welding processes with a variety of materials
- Demonstrated experience with QA processes
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Safety conscious and well organised
- Computer experience is an advantage
