Workshop Supervisors Wanted for Our Esteemed ClientOur esteemed client is currently seeking skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisors to join their dynamic team. The successful candidates will have a solid background in fabrication and welding, combined with meticulous attention to detail. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee workshop operations, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
- Provide supporting documents, such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify faults and malfunctions in equipment and machinery.
- Perform and oversee regular maintenance checks and servicing to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment.
- Fabricate new metal parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of machinery serviced and repairs carried out.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols during maintenance and repair tasks.
- Train and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements in fabrication and welding techniques.
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in fabrication and welding.
- Relevant training certificates in welding and fabrication.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure effective communication with team members and clients.
