What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a driven individual to be our next X-Ray Assistant based on a full time Permanent basis. You will be working Monday to Friday 37.5hrs a week and 1 in 3 Saturday morning as regular overtime!
As an X-Ray Assistant, you will gain an understanding on and assist with diagnostic medical imaging procedures in a customer focused manner. You will be provided with full hands on training for approximately 3 months. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor your duties will include:
- Maintaining a high level of care, safety and confidentiality when dealing with patients/customers
- Assist Radiographers and Radiologists with diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT/US injections and FNA’s.
- Ensure Radiologist lists are running on time
- Record and maintain correct documentation for each patient
- Assist with monitoring stock levels
- Data entry
- Ensure change rooms are clean and tidy

- Professionally presented and able to effectively liaise with individuals from all social and cultural backgrounds
- Confident computer skills and data entry
- Excellent communication skills
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Due to government mandate, our employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster doses when due.
