Due to the success of pipeline and winning work, we are now looking to appoint an ArchiCAD Architect and an ArchiCAD Technician. (See below for both roles)
ArchiCAD Architect position:
In the role of an ArchiCAD Architect, we are seeking a versatile Technical Architect with strong building knowledge and proficiency in ArchiCAD. The ideal candidate will have experience across all phases of a project, from conceptual design through to construction documentation and administration. However, given the amount of projects in delivery phases, this role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure technical excellence while collaborating effectively with the creative design team.
In the role of an ArchiCAD Architect your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and manage the technical aspects of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using ArchiCAD.
- Collaborate with project teams to create innovative and practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continually improve project outcomes.
In the role of an ArchiCAD Architect, we require you to have the following experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Professional registration or licensure (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural practice, with a strong technical focus.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Architectural Technician position:
In the role of an ArchiCAD Technician we are seeking a detail-oriented ArchiCAD Technician to focus on documentation, detailing, and construction drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, specially in construction drawings and proficiency in ArchiCAD, with experience in producing precise and comprehensive construction documentation.
In the role of an Architectural Technician your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using ArchiCAD.
- Focus on documentation and detailing to ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure the accuracy of construction documents.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings and documentation to maintain high standards.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules, material specifications, and other project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in construction documentation.
In the role of an Architectural Technician, we require you to have the following qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on documentation and detailing.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- A track record working on construction documentation packages in the multi-residential and commercial sector.
- Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving documentation processes.
