Qualifications & experience
- Successful candidates will be required to have: Minimum 6 years project experience
- Archicad experience is essential
- Knowledge and understanding of local construction standards and regulations including NCC and DBP
- Demonstrate strong documentation skills through all project stages
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of construction methodology and best practice with an eye for detail
- Strong time management and prioritising skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Project experience in Class 2 buildings will stand you in good stead
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, minutes, drawings, schedules, material selections, specifications and written documents that are appropriate for each of the project stages and their intended use, including compliance with all statutory requirements and working knowledge of the NCC
- Understand and work creatively to formulate and maintain architectural ideas and design standards throughout all project stages
- Coordinate and manage formal and informal meetings professionally with clients, consultants, authorities, and suppliers
- Confidently resolve problems and implement resolutions during tender and construction stages.
- Maintain quality assurance within projects including implementing our company IMS policies, procedures and templates
- Contribute to the general functioning of the company, including participation in internal meetings, intake, discussions, reviews, workshops and consultations
- Support/manage projects to ensure that timeframes are met
