The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join our team, based at our Wingfield yard reporting to the Yard Manager.
This is a full-time position with some after hours work required.
To be successful in this position you will display the following qualifications and experience:
- Forklift licence essential
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or with minimal supervision as required
- Proven customer service and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of different grades of Ferrous and Non Ferrous metal (desirable but not essential)
- Additional licenses and experience looked at favourably – Skid Steer, HR truck license, Front End Loader, traffic control, Radio communication
- Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, seek answers to questions whenever in doubt, to voice an opinion in relation to tasks
- Be physically fit in order to carry out tasks
