About the Role
PremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Yard Person/Equipment Washer to join our busy team located in our Head Office in Eastern Creek.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to prepare equipment ready for hire as required.
Duties
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Day to day washing and preparation of hire equipment
- General yard duties
- Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed
- Loading/unloading of hire equipment
- Other appropriate duties as directed
- Assisting workshop staff with servicing and repairs as required
Skills and Experience
You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A valid Forklift licence is essential to be considered for this role
- MR licence is preferred but not essential
- Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised and pays attention to detail
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work and has a great work ethic
- Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
- Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Is capable of performing physical activities
- Can work overtime, including weekends when needed
Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
