YOUTH WORKER - YOUTH ASSISTANT

The role:
Council is currently seeking a casual Youth Worker - Youth Assistant to supervise young people attending youth activities, programs and events organised by Council's Youth Services Team and assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of activities, programs and events for young people utilizing and potential resources. Council currently has Youth Centres in Merriwa, Scone and Murrurundi and is needing casual staff to assist at each of these centres.

$1028.90 to $1152.40 per 38 hour week+ 11% super + 25% casual loading and the opportunity for salary progression

What we need from you:
All applicants must possess a demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport with young people and their families. Previous experience working in youth centres or in the provision of social/recreational programs for young people is desirable, although not essential.
