About the Role:
The position of Youth Sport and Recreation Officer – Elliott is responsible for increasing opportunities for residents of regional and remote communities to participate in sports and active recreation activities regularly, through the delivery and running of Sport and Recreation activities, under the supervision of the Youth Sport and Recreation Team Leader – Elliott.
The Essentials:
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and manage programs and events for children and youth.
- Well developed oral and written communication skills.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A current National Police Clearance (recent within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Clearance. (OCHRE Card)
About You:
- Have a passion for working with children and youth.
- Enjoy outdoor activities.
- Able to lead, motivate, and supervise other people.
The Finer Details:
- Casual $34.93 per hour (up to 35 hours per week)
- Remote Communities Zone Allowance of $2.51 per ordinary hour.
- 11% Superannuation.
