Join our team of passionate Youth Support Workers who assist a wide range of state government and not for profit programs specialised in the care and supervision of at-risk young people.
About the job:
- Complete the safe transport of young people to and from various appointments and locations
- Supervise access between young people and parents, with a requirement to submit professional access notes to Case Management teams
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people who may have a history of trauma and challenging behaviours
About You:
- Minimum Diploma level Qualification in Youth Work, Community Services or similar (Essential)
- 6 months paid experience in programs supporting clients under 18 (Essential)
- Availability to work with short notice on weekdays, particularly around school start and finish times (Essential)
- Knowledge of safe child car seat instalment (Highly Desirable)
- Experience writing and submitting professional case notes (Desirable)
- Able to provide required compliance documentation upon request (Essential)
