About the role
Located in Toowoomba , and reporting to the Support Manager , you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high performing Youth Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with conversion to permanent for the right candidates.

Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships
You will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours

What you’ll need
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care Units), or equivalent (click here to view more details),
Willingness to study Top Up Units Residential Care - Mandatory (4 Modules) through our RTO
Valid Qld driver’s licence
Valid Australian working rights
Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications.
A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1, 2 & booster )
Skills and experience
Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
You are passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
