The Role:
McArthur is seeking passionate and experienced Youth Workers to join our team of Casual Support Work staff who we engage with a wide range of specialised Child and Youth Services programs.
The variety of the organisations that we work with allows for great flexibility in the role to work a range of different shift options and with different work focuses, from Child Protection to Out of Home Care and Refuges the options are many.

- Exposure to different Child and Youth Social Work program deliveries, both statutory and otherwise

The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Develop and encourage independent living skills to maintain independent or shared housing
- Transport young people as necessary to and from school, appointments and/ or supervised contacts
- Prepare and submit high quality case notes detailing presentation, behaviours, concerns and incidents relating to shifts and/ or supervised contacts
- Respond appropriately to young people with complex presentations/behaviours of concerns
- Undertake reasonable domestic tasks including cooking and cleaning as required when working in residential based programs
The Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, or similar (Essential)
- Mandatory Units of Competency (Top-Up Skills) (Essential)
- Minimum 12 months paid sector experience supporting clients under 18 (Essential)
- Current clear National Police Check completed within the last 12 months (Essential)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check AND Victorian Employee Working With Children Check (Essential)
- Victorian Drivers Licence (Essential)
