The role you could playAs a Youth Worker you would be providing support to young people between the ages of 15 and 17 years of age at Burlendi Youth Housing. Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Key responsibilitiesProvide support to young people in line with Youth Services model of care and associated FrameworksBuild effective relationships with clients encouraging self-determination and participationProvide ongoing assessment of client's issues, needs and circumstances from initial intake to existEnsure all clients are provided with safe accommodation, on-site supervision, guidance and support across all life domainsEnsure clients receive constructive advice on budgeting, shopping, cooking/nutrition, household cleaning etc.This is a casual role is located in Salisbury Downs, SA. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 3 Award. This role will require candidates to work a variety of shifts from 7:15am - 315pm or 3pm - 11pm, weekdays and weekends, with a focus on morning shifts required.
